Maybelline Color Drama Lipstick - A Nars Dupe

Tuesday, 7 October 2014

Hello everyone!
This is juts a quick blog post review about a product that I think it's amazing for the price.
I'm sure by now you've heard/seen Maybelline's Color Drama Lipsticks.
They are very pigmented lipstick/lip pencil that it an amazing dupe for Nars Lip pencils/lipstick.

One of the pros is that they are very long lasting and doesn't smudge! Brilliant!
I've also find that they aren't drying on the lips and thank god for that since the cold weather is hitting us and our lips are getting dryer.

They currently sell for £4.99 in Boots stores.

Have you tried these before? Or have tried the Nars ones? Let me know in the comments below!

September Favorites!

Friday, 4 October 2013

Hello everyone!
Wait? What?! September has gone?! I swear to god every month goes faster and faster! 1 month ago I was worried sick about starting college and 1 month later I am loving it!
Anyway I decided to make a post on my september favorites!

First on my list for September favorites is 2 Benefit's blushers in ''Coralista'' and ''Dandelion''

These colours are so beautiful! ''Dandelion'' is the perfect everyday, simple, give colour if my face blush. It goes perfect with my fair complexion. '''Coralista'' is more of a summer go to blush and has a bit of sparkle in them but I would still wear it in the winter! It gives such a nice warm glow.

Foundations. My everyday go to foundations I have been wearing last month. I actually mix these two in because Mac Studio Fix Fluid in NC15 is to yellow for me and Max Factor All Day Flawless in the lightest shade is way to pink for me! So by mixing them in it gives more of neutral colour which is perfect for me! It also gives a flawless finish! Absolute adore it!

My favorite moisturiser goes to La Rochie-Posay Hydraphase UV Intense! What a mouthful! This is a french brand moisturiser they also have other things that I might check out! Anyway long story short I realised I had dehydrated skin and needed a intense moisturiser! And this works wonders! My skin looks glowing because of this!

I'm sure you all know what this is! If not it's called Collection or Collection 2000 lasting perfection concealer. I first tried this about 2 years ago and didn't really thought what the hype of it was. But I tried it again this months and wow! It really it good! I use this to conceal my acne scarring and it's so good! Plus it's cheap! I would defiantly recommend it to you!

This is sleek's face palette. It has a bronzer for contouring, highlighter and a blush. I really like using the highlighter and bronzer! It has been in my everyday makeup back everyday last month and has been good for contouring my face and giving me a nice glow!

For my lips i've been loving Maybelline's baby lips and color whisper and Revlon's just bitten kissable lip stain/balm. Now you will most probably find every british blogger rave about the baby lips because they just realised them over here! I've been to America last year and bought some baby lips while over there and loved them so I was over the moon when they arrived here

Revlon's just bitten kissable lip stain/balm is my go to winter lip product. It's my perfect red lip for winter. i bought Maybelline's color whisper when I went to America this year and unfortunately are not available in the UK. But it just gives your lips such a nice moisturising feeling and is such a great colour!

I was never really into soap and glory products until I got these two. I use the sugar crush every morning when i'm taking a shower and it gives you such an energising feeling! It also smells so good! Pulp Friction (I see what you did there soap and glory) is now my favorite exfoliator! I hate using exfoliator that's in a tub it just messy for me and water get's into it so when I saw this exfoliator is a tube! I obviously bought it and it works wonders! I adore it so much!

My favorite songs of the month is -
Katy Perry - Roar
Miley Cyrus - Wreaking ball and 23
Rizzle Kicks - Lost generation
The Beatles - A Hard day's night
Robbie Williams - Angles
Ellie Goulding - Anything can happen

Favorite TV shows -
Dexter
Supernatural
Dance moms

Favorite movies -
The bling ring
We're the millers
The Great Gatsby

Other favorites -
Ynakee Candle - Slated Caramel and Vanilla Chai
Gold the biscuit
Some granola and greek yogurt

Elf Studio Matte Lip Colour in Rich Red - Review!

Tuesday, 17 September 2013

Hi guys!
I was on the elf website the other week to buy the powder brush that everyone has been raving about! (Turns out it is AMAZING!) And as I was on the website I decided to buy a few more things. One of the things I bought is the Studio Matte Lip Colour. The reason being buying this is because I needed a red lip liner for winter. And since I never have tried this before and it was kinda cheap - £3.75, I might as well buy it!

Now I wasn't expecting it to be what it is...

As you can see it's sort of like a pencil. But when I swatches it first it had no colour coming off it whats so ever.

The colour does not match on what is supposed to be. When I put in on my lips it turned even more pink rather than red! I wasn't impressed at all.

It does gives you a moisturising feeling and feels lightweight on your lips. But it wasn't matte! It looked mildly glossy. Overall I would not recommend it. It didn't impress me at all. I was very disappointed with it.

I would give it 6/10 it was okay if you like a pink toned lip colour, moisturising and kinda cheap.
But no I will not buy any other Lip Colour.

Benefit Stay Flawless 15 Hour Primer - Review

Sunday, 1 September 2013

Hi everyone!
I bought Benefit's Stay Flawless 15 Hour Primer a couple of weeks ago so I thought I might review it!

I bought this just simple of it's ''15 hour stay'' because who doesn't want their makeup staying for 15 hours?! But I was disappointed with it. Which is odd since I LOVE their ''that gal'' primer.

The packaging was nice. I don't really have nothing to stay about it really. The box looked fabulous! Anyway...

What Benefit says about the primer:
'''Flawless works overtime! Our instant PRO-long primer acts like a magnet to lock on your foundation for 15 fresh & flawless hours. This invisible stick primer glides directly onto skin for optimal wear and a natural-looking finish. Go longer.''

The stick is a flesh toned but comes out invisible. For me I was a bit unsure on this because of bacteria. You apply the primer on your face like a glue stick. You ''glide it directly onto skin then immediately apply foundation and blend together.'' For me this felt exactly like a glue stick but less sticky. It was alright, it also felt wet.
I then applied foundation. I used MAC Studio Fix Fluid and Nars Sheer Glow. Let me tell you, it did NOT last for 15 hours let alone 8. I have combination skin, more on the dry side than oily and this primer made my skin look oily! I never had oily skin so with all the dewy and products for dry skin I was hopeless. It ''melted'' my foundation and made it transfer to everything! A lot of people like this so maybe this product is toward the oily type rather than dry.

Have you tired this primer? Let me know in the comments! Hope this review helped you on deciding buying this or not :)
