The Exact Kylie Jenner Lip Liner | MAC Soar

Monday 29 December 2014

2014 has been all about Kylie Jenner's lips. From how did she get them so big?! & What did she use?! And of course the big debate of did she or didn't she get them done? Personally I think she did...I have yet to see a tutorial that get's them exactly like her's...

Anyway moving on, There has been many suggestions on what she use. The top 3 are MAC's Velvet Teddy Lipstick, Whirl and Soar Lip liner. Trying to get one of these products is so hard. Everywhere is sold out. But when I saw ''Soar'' available on the MAC website I didn't even hesitate to buy it.

I was very excited to try this lip liner out. I'm never the one to wear lipliners. Plus I only had 1 other MAC lip liner. When it arrived it wasn't what I expected. Brace yourself for the worst dry lips...

I was very disappointed with the colour. In this picture it looks like it has red undertones to it. And for me in real life it washes me out completely. Looking at pictures online it has more of a pink, mauve undertones to it. My lips are very pigmented so maybe that has a lot to do with it. Or maybe i just got a failed one? I have no idea! Let me know if you also think this is wrong.

But what other lip liners have you tried? Every tried whirl, soar and velvet teddy before? Let me know!

Full Coverage Foundations #3 | Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation

Saturday 20 December 2014

Back when I was on accutane - a acne medication for severe acne - my face obviously broke out to the max! Going through bottles of ''full coverage foundation'' and none of them really gave me the satisfaction, I cam across this little number.

This to me is my all time favorite full coverage foundation. A little goes a long way and its very pigmented, great for covering redness and imperfections. This was my go to foundation whilst on that medication simply because how it didn't irritate my skin, didn't brake me out, covered all my acne and was very long lasting!

Being a mousse texture foundation it's easy to blend and instantly gives a full coverage. It does has a slight fragrance to it but you can not smell it once it's on your face. Another good point is that this foundation has a satin finish. Great for those with dry skin!

Available in 10 shades this retails for £34 and you can get it here

Have you tried this foundation? Let me know!

On Your Christmas Wish List... | Charlotte Tilbury Wonder Glow

Monday 15 December 2014

Charlotte Tilbury makeup is becoming one of my favorite brands. I think her products are amazing quality and very glamours! After reading many reviews of different products from her I decided to buy the Wonder Glow Instant Soft Focus Beauty Flash...primer? I like to call it? That's what I use it for, but you can wear it like a primer, mixed with foundation, over foundation or just on its on and it will give you an amazing healthy looking, sun-kissed skin.

I mainly got this because of it's ''soft focus'' effect. It will vanish imperfections but still give you a luminosity look. It's one of them products that you need try in your life! It just makes your foundation look flawless and perfect!

It has a golden undertones to it that gives you the most beautiful sun kissed look. The only downside I have for this is the fragrance. I'm not a fan of fragranced makeup (although lipstick/lipgloss doesn't count) It's not an overwhelming scent to it but you can defiantly notice it. But it doesn't brake me out! Win!

It retails for £38.50 and you can get it here

Defiantly a worth on the christmas list!

Until next time

Full Coverage Foundations #2 | Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation

Thursday 11 December 2014

The 2nd blog post about full coverage foundation features this little number. Tarte has been one of the most talk about brands in the last 2 years, and their 12 Hour Amazonian Clay foundation has been one of their best selling products.

Being Tarte this foundation is very friendly to the skin. Using natural ingredients and has an SPF of 15 it doesn't go wrong for the skin. It's a semi-matte, buildable and has 16 shades to choose from.

Again with this foundation is had a mousse, thick texture to it but when applied it turns out smooth and silky. It's defiantly on the medium to full coverage. For example, if using a beauty blender to apply you will get full coverage but applied with a brush you will get medium coverage.

This is a great foundation if you have oily or normal skin. My combination skin did not like this. It showed dry patches on my skin and left my nose oily. I have to say that the power stay it great it did not come off after wearing it for 12 hours. I did find that I could feel this foundation on me. But I am really impressed with their colour range! 16 shades with cool, neutral and warm tones! Brilliant!

You can get this foundation if your from the UK here for £32.50

Overall I would't buy this again for me. My skin and this foundation just doesn't go well.

Have you tried this foundation? What do you think about it? Do you want it? Let me know!

Cleansing Oils & Balms | Which One Is The Best?

Tuesday 9 December 2014

I've been using cleansing oils a lot this year. I first used ''L'oreal Paris Skin Perfection Miracle Cleansing Oil'', I bought it simply because i've heard about cleansing oils and saw it on offer. After making good research I discovered that ''The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil'' was a big hit in beauty world.

I love cleansing oils they are so quick taking off your makeup. 3 pumps and 3 damp cotton pads and all my makeup is off within 3 minuets!

But are they better than balms? Balms have been here longer than oils, I think simply because people are afraid of using oils as cleansers. Some great cleansing balms are ''Elemis Pro Collagen Cleansing Balm'' and ''Emma Hardie Amazing Face Moringa Cleansing Balm''

When I was in Canada in September I forgot to take my cleansing oil with me. Knowing I loved the camomile cleansing oil I bought the balm version of it since I have never tried balms before and it was small and compact to travel with.

So are balm the best? With this one, no. I found the oil a lot more easy to work with and quicker to use. With the balms you have to warm them up in your hands before and I just find that really hygienic even though my hands are clean. I also didn't like how it felt on my face, rubbing it in felt really greasy and doesn't feel like i'm taking off my makeup, but of course it did.

For the price of £10 for the oil and £12 for the balm you couldn't go wrong for trying them.
Have you ever tried any cleansing oils/balms? Let me know in the comments!

The Best Exfoliator for Sensitive Skin!

Monday 8 December 2014

When you have sensitive skin it's hard to find an exfoliator that doesn't irritates your skin. Well let me introduce you to ''The Body Shop Aloe Gentle Exfoliator for Sensitive Skin''

I've been using this for about 2 months and it's definitely the best exfoliator for my skin. The other exfoliator I used was to drying and harsh on my skin. It left my face feeling tight and an extreme flaky nose.

The aloe in this helps calm your sensitive skin. It also hasn't got big exfoliating beads, it has small fine beads but just the right amount of them in it.
It retails for £10 which I think is a bargain for this exfoliator!

What's your favourite exfoliator? Have you tried this one? Let me know in the comments!

When Your Bioderma Runs Out...

Friday 5 December 2014

For a good 2 years now i've been using Bioderma every single day. It's so quick taking off your makeup/eye makeup and gives you such an nice refreshed feeling on the skin. But when the time comes, your Bioderma will run out...Luckily more brands have finally found out about the amazing cleansing water.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water has been raved so much this year that I just couldn't miss out on a review of it.
Last year when I went to Paris I bought 2 big bottles of Bioderma that has lasted me nearly a good year! So when I used the last few drops of my Bioderma, I knew exactly what cleansing water I was going to get.

If you don't know about Cleansing Waters, it's basically a makeup remover, can also use on your eyes. They are like makeup wipes but better!

I was very happy with Garnier. They hit the spot when it comes to this product. Removes everything and doesn't sting my eyes! (Which I did find with their eye makeup remover, post about it ''Disappointing Products #1'' If you want to read about it) It's gentle and doesn't dry out the skin. For a steal of £4.99 you can't go wrong with it!

Let me know what you think about cleansing waters? Do you like them or not? Ever tried Bioderma? Let me know!

Easy, Fast and Flawless Tan in 60 Minuets

Thursday 4 December 2014

Sometimes you just can't wait overnight for your tan to develop. And you can't bare going out with your tan undeveloped or afraid of streaks happening. But now your troubles and worries have gone. Let me introduce you to FakeBake 60 Minuets Self Tan Liquid.

This fake tan has changed my life. Even though I still love my St Tropez Tan it just sometimes takes to much time. FakeBake has this tan where it develops in just 60 minuets, after that you can jump into the shower and have a beautiful natural looking tan.

It does say not to leave it on for over 3 hours unless you was a dark, patch tan. 1 hour - Natural Tan, 2 hours - Golden Tan, 3 hours - Dark Tan.

It's so easy to use as you just spray it on, blend it in with a tanning mat, wait an hour and your done. Also it dried so fast! Once it's on it won't come off!

What's your favourite tan? Any recommendations? Let me know!

Full Coverage Foundations #1 - Vitchy Dermablend Foundation

Wednesday 3 December 2014

Full coverage foundations are my life. I just love how handy they are for covering my scared skin from acne. Even though getting a full coverage foundation might be scary for some, how much is enough? Buildable? Cakey? Once you get a real good foundation you'll never look back.

Let's start with the acne friendly one. This Vitchy Dermablend Foundation changed my life. It's a friendly foundation to those who have sensitive and acne skin. You only need a pea size amount of this and it will cover any imperfections. It also last up to 16 hours, although I would say more like 10 hours. It has ''Soft Focus'' effect on the skin to make it look flawless. And lastly it gives you a natural satin finish.

The foundation has a mousse, thick look to it. Like Laura Mercier Silk Creme foundation and Tarte Amazonian Clay foundation.

The downfall of this is the colour range. There are only 5 shades available. And most are dark. I have the lightest shade - 15 Opal - And I have to wear fake tan with it or else I can not pull it off.

It ranges for about £16.00 in selective stores.

What do you think about this foundation? Are you a fan of full coverage? Let me know in the comments or tweet me @Annalaleex

Dry Skin Be Gone! - Garnier Moisture Match - Dry to Very Dry

Tuesday 2 December 2014

It's always a struggle to find a good moisturiser for me. I've been through so many bottles and jars of moisturisers but i've never had any luck with them, until now!

I was using Benefit's Total Moisture Facial Cream when I suddenly realised that it did nothing for me. I tend to get a very dry/flaky nose and every time I was using Benefit's moisturiser it only made my skin a tiny bit less dry, but always when putting foundation on it would cling onto my dry skin.

I was watching some youtube videos and this one girl was using this moisturiser, and her skin looked so beautifully radiant and none dry when she applied this. Of course I went out and bought it. It retails for about £5.99 from boots.

After only using it once I noticed what a big different it made! My skin was smooth and hydrated and there was no more flaky skin on the nose! Result! Also it isn't heavy or greasy on the skin as it absorbs right in. Would totally recommend to those who have dry skin.

What do you think of Garnier Moisture Match range? Have you tried any of them? Let me know in the comments!

Baking Blogging #1 - Easy Shortbread Recipe!

Monday 1 December 2014

Baking is one of my favourite things to do. And for my 18th birthday present I got my very own Kitchenaid Mixer. I decided to blog my first use of the mixer to see how it is. The mixer is fabulous to work with! The only issue I had with it was the speed leaver was a bit stiff but i'll get the hang of it soon.

Let's start with the Kitchenaid Mixer. It's a wonderful baking mixer for anybody. So easy to use and I would defiantly recommend it if you do a lot of baking. It's pricy though! Coming in at a whopping £370!

I also got it in the ''Caffe Latte'' shade. Since i'm not a big fan of coloured equipments I thought this would be a good colour since it goes with everything. Also it has very subtle glitter! Love it!

Now for the recipe!

First off this recipe only has 3 ingredients! Start off by pre heating the oven to 160C and use 50g of sugar and 100g of butter.

Mix the sugar and butter together until nice and creamy.

Next get 125g of plain flower.

Adding the flower bit by bit to get the mixture nice a crumbly.

After adding all of the flower, get the mixture into a ball using your hands.

Roll out the dough, you can decide how thick or thin you want the shortbread to be.

Cut them out using whatever you want to use. You can use christmas cut outs, great for gifts this christmas!

Put them in the oven for about 10-15 minuets.

While cooling sprinkle sugar all over them.

Then your done! Put them on a plate and serve them up! How easy was that?! They are so easy and delicious to make, anybody can do them! I was thinking of doing lots of these as christmas presents. What do you think? Hope you will try these out! Tweet me at - @Annalaleex if you've done them!

The Top 5 Apps That YOU Need

Friday 28 November 2014

Smartphones and apps have changed our lives. We can't function without them! So here's my top 5 apps that YOU need! (This only applies to iphone users)

1# Travel - Google Maps. Now this is a simple one really. Yes the iphone does have maps on it but trust me, After getting google maps on your phone you will never look back. Google maps has everything you need. Directions, Locations for restaurants, shops, houses etc and my favorite thing a SatNav. What else do you want from an app?!

2# Travel - Trainline. If you live in the UK this is the most important thing that you need. This app let's you know what time the train goes, the next one in, if there's a delay and also let you buy tickets. It defiantly helped me a lot of times!

3# Lifestyle - Clue. This is an app that let's you track down your period. And believe me, it get's it right every time! It tells you when you ''fertile window'' which means this is the best time for pregnancy, tells you when you get your PMS and when your next period will start. What's also good about this app, it allows you to tell how you are feeling, what's you period flow, if you had unprotected sex and keeps you on track if your on the pill. It's really worth getting ladies!

4# Photography - SquareReady. It's like InstaSize but obviously different. I always thought with InstaSize I could never really get the same layout as I want all of my pictures to be. But with SquareReady it allows you to get the same size every time. You defiantly need this app if you want your whole pictures to be on Intsagram.

5# Photography - VSCOcam. One of the best editing tools for your photos. It has everything you need. From lightening you photos to some great, awesome filters that has a lot more variety than Instagram. I usually use this app all the time to edit my photos.

And that's a wrap! Have you tried any of these apps? Or what do you recommend? Let me know in the comments below!

Back to Blogging - Catch Up #1

Thursday 27 November 2014

So i've been away from blogging for a week. Not that matters to anyone. But to me it seems like forever since I last blogged. But I have an excuse...it was my 18th last saturday. And I went a little bit hard that night...And I had a very important exam in college on wednesday so that needed time.

But yes! I am 18! An adult. Even though this has nothing to with my blog, I thought I might write about it so in a couple of years I can look back at it and remember what an awesome night it was!

Let's start on the Thursday, 2 days before my birthday. My college friends got me this wonderful chocolate fudge cake which was amazing!
Also these photos are all of my iphone...and snapchat...yeah.

My signature pose with the peace sign haha!

Then it was time to go out and partey! I've been out a couple of times before so it wasn't just as i've just turned 18 and experience alcohol for the first time.

Here are only some snaps of the night, but it was so good to have 2 of my closest childhood friends celebrating my 18th with me! Since I live in Wales and from a very small town we basically knew everyone there and some of my friends that went to uni came back home and ugh it was wonderful :)

I'm so thankful for everything I got and the awesome friends I have! :)

But good things come at a price...Right now I have a really bad head cold (well it doesn't help that your birthday is in November and it was raining that night and I didn't have a jacket sooo...) Also I lost my I.D and about £40 so yes. Great! Haha!

What did you on your 18th? Did you celebrate it? Or you think 18th isn't that important? Let me know in the comments below!

Disappointing Products #1

Thursday 20 November 2014

Sometimes I buy things mainly because of the great reviews I've heard of them. Others I buy not knowing how good it is. These are my disappointing products #1.

1, Smashbox Hydrate Primer
2, Laura Mercier Foundation Primer
3, Garnier Express 2 in 1 Eye Makeup Remover
4, Bleach London Silver Conditioner + Shampoo
5, Sleek Eyeshadow Palette

1, I've used 2 other different smashbox primers before. The original photoready primer and dark spot primer. I was impressed with the Photo Ready primer, the dark spot primer was for me to try and get rid of scars. I don't think it did anything for me. But since my skin is dry/dehydrated I tried out the Hydrate primer. Disappointed. Did nothing at all. Did nothing for my makeup to stay longer or look flawless. Nothing.

2, And that's where the Laura Mercier Primer comes in. After seeing a good amount of hype about her primers, and loving the Silk Creame FfoundationI thought surly this primer is amazing! I was wrong. Again like the Smashbox it did nothing! It was a waste of money and product.

3, I usually take my makeup off with a oil cleanser but hate it using it to remove my eye makeup off, So I bought Garnier's eye makeup remover, suitable for sensitive eyes. ''Suitable for sensitive eyes'' Bit of a lie there, Garnier? It made my eyes sting so much! Also my eyes were red and watery. A no go from me. But my mother uses it and she loves it!

4, Bleach London is one of 2014's biggest hair hype in the blogger world. From their crazy hair colours to their hair care range, I had high hopes for their silver shampoo and conditioner.  I bought the conditioner first thinking it would do my bleach hair a good condition treatment while taking out the yellow in my hair. 1, It did not take any yellow out and 2, It made my hair incredibly greasy! I can't use this conditioner since after 3 hours my hair is so greasy, disgusting! Same goes to the shampoo, disappointed with the conditioner i gave the shampoo a go. One good thing about it, it didn't make my as greasy as the conditioner, but didn't get any yellow out of my hair.

5, I can't even remember the name of this Sleek eyeshadow palette, but all I can say about how disappointed I was with it. After sleek having many great reviews with their palettes I decided to buy one...and thought what is so amazing about it?! It didn't give any pigment and didn't stay on my eyelids. Maybe I just got a bad palette? I don't know...

Have any of you tried these products? Let me know in the comments if you agree of disagree with my review of them!

Top 3 Hair Texture Sprays

Monday 17 November 2014

Hair texturing sprays...I live for them. They give my flat, thin, lifeless hair such a great boost and texture to them! Here's my top 3

1, L'oreal Paris #TXT Texture Styling spray - £3.97
2, Bumble and bumble Dryspun Finish spray - £21.50
3, VO5 Dry Texture Spray - £4.19

1, This one gives you the best volume. When your hair is looking flat this gives your just the right amount of lift you need! Also it doesn't give you that tacky texture you get with some sprays. I also feel as if this is the best when you want messy, bed hair, looks like you gave an effort but you just sprayed this on your hair. This gets an A+

2, This one is the most expensive and the one I don't like the best. Don't get me wrong it does exactly what it says, gives you texture in your hair but I feel as it only last about 2 hours and then the texture is gone. But I feel as if this is the most nicest, light feeling sprays. That's why I use it. I have a feeling this might work better on thick hair...Let me know in the comments if you have tried this one and what do you think about it!

3, My first texturing spray! It smells so good! I've had compliments on what I smell like when i'm using this, haha! This is more like the L'oreal one but without so much of the volume. It works amazing on giving you texture and holding it in place. You can scrunch your hair with this and it will stay like that for a good couple of hours!

So what do you think? Have any of you tried texturing sprays before? Let me know in the comments below! Texture sprays is a must have for fine hair!

Urban Decay Naked 2 v Naked 3 Palette

Thursday 13 November 2014

Urban Decay's palettes are probably my favorite palettes of all time. They are just amazing! They have such great colours with a mix of matte, satin and shimmery eyeshadows.

The first palette I got was the Naked 2. It was when I started getting into reading blogs and watching youtube, that I realised everyone used this palette. So I went and bought it. It has cool undertones to it that goes well with green eyes and just suited me well.

Naked 3 is my latest palette to enter my collection. I LOVE the rose gold neutral eyeshadows in this palette! This one is utterly beautiful and since I just got it i'm still trying out different looks with it. But if you have green/blue eyes and blonde hair then you must get this palette! It looks amazing with them features!

I personally feel that the Naked 2 is the best. I think that you get a lot more looks from it. With the Naked 3 because everything has pink undertones to it, it's sometimes hard to get/pull off a pink eyeshadow look.

If your thinking of getting a Naked palette I would totally recommend the Naked 2. It has colours that will look good on everyone and has more of a variety of looks you can get with it.

Have you get any of the Naked palette? What's you fave? Let me know in the comments below!

Until next time!

The Top 3 Best Eyebrow Products

Monday 10 November 2014

Eyebrows. They have been on trend for the last 2 years thanks to Cara Delevingne and her big, bold eyebrows. Now, I wasn't and never will be a fan of the bushy, bold eyebrows. I just think they don't look good on me at all and I totally prefer skinny, thin eyebrows.
The last 2 years i've been experimenting what different brow products that works the best, by looking at youtube videos and blog reviews I have finally got the top 3 I love the best.

L-R
1, Sleek Makeup Eyebrow Kit - £8.49
2, Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz - $23.00
3, Mac eyeshadow in Omega - With Mac 208 brush - £13.00

1, Sleek eyebrow kit was my first ever eyebrow kit. It comes with a powder, wax, 2 small brushed & a small tweezers. I actually think that for £8 this kit is amazing! Plus it's my favorite one! The powder is truly amazing! It goes on smoothly and soft and gives you the right amount of powder you want for your eyebrows.

2, Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz is one of the most popular brow product going. It got popular by Cara telling everyone that she uses it on her brows. And of course it was a hit. This is a pencil product and also comes with a brush at the end. I feel this product works well if you want bold eyebrows. Plus since it's in pencil form you have a lot more control with it.

3, Mac Omega eyeshadow and 208 brush. This is a perfect colour for blondes. It has an ashy tone to it. I find that this is the easiest way of apply it. You have to build up the colour to get bold eyebrows. Plus the brush is amazing to apply with.

What's your fave brow product? Let me know if the comments below!

Favourite Autumn Perfumes

Friday 7 November 2014

Autumn my favourite season! I just love everything about it, from the cozy nights in to the sunny harsh cold weather. Love it! Now when it comes to the perfumes i'm a girl that changes her perfumes according to the seasons. Basically I wouldn't dare use Marc Jacobs ''Daisy'' in Summer, Autumn or Winter because it's my Spring fragrance.

I feel as when the weather becomes dark and cold I tend to wear musky and heavy perfumes. Here are my fave Autumn fragrance.

1, Giorgio Armani - Si - 30ml for £46.00
2, Thierry Mugler - Alien  - 30ml for £48.00
3, Jimmy Choo - Jimmy Choo  - 40ml for £49.00
4, Dior - Miss Dior  - 30ml for £47.00

And now for the hard part because how the hell can I describe the scents?!

1, Si is a sweet vanilla, woody scent. It has that woody/musky scent but with a twist of a sweet/fruity but not fresh scent. Some people like it others don't.
2, Alien a very popular perfume! Again a woody scent. With white floral and amber notes. It smells so good! I can't get enough of it.
3, Jimmy Choo first fragrance is a sweet and spicy scent. But don't let that spicy note make you think it smells like a curry (haha) You can barely smell the spice in it. Kinda smells like Si but swapped around with the fruity and spice.
4, Miss Dior again with the vanilla and amber notes but a lot more light and fresh than the others. If you don't like heavy perfumes with a lot of musky/woody notes in them then try this one.

What's your favourite autumn perfume? Let me know in the comments below!

Charlotte Tilbury - Love is The Drug - Blush

Wednesday 5 November 2014

Hello everyone!
Charlotte Tilbury- The brand of the year! I've seen her name and products everywhere in 2014 and even though it is a little bit expensive it's totally worth it! It's one of them brands where you KNOW every product will be amazing!

I picked up Wonderglow Skin Illuminator and Love is The Drug blush whilst in London a couple of weeks ago.
My mother has stolen my wonderglow and I can not review it before giving it a go! So be patient with that blog post..coming soon...

''Love is My Drug'' blush is a light pink with very subtle shimmers in it that give you an amazing glow and healthy look. It looks amazing of fair skin girls. The pink and the shimmers makes you look radiant and awake without being too harsh. You can defiantly build this up plus a little goes a long way!

The packaging has a 1940's vibe to it. Which is very refreshing to see in the makeup world.

Excuse the blister on my hand...As you can see the blush is such a beautiful colour! This was only one swatch, it's just the right amount of pigment you need in a blush! This gets a thumbs up from me!

You can get this blush here for £30

Have you tried anything from the Charlotte Tilbury range? Let me know in the comments below!
p.s - Do you think the Magic Cream is worth the money?

Until next time!

18th Birthday Wishlist!

Monday 3 November 2014

Hi everyone!
It's November! Swear it was easter about 2 weeks ago...where has 2014 gone?! Anyway November, it's my birthday month! And I will be 18 years old. 18. What. I honestly can not believe I will be 18! They really do say that years go faster when your older!
In Britain turning 18 is big. You become an adult and your legal to buy alcohol, vote, move out etc so this defiantly means big things are in store!

For my 18th present I kindly asked my parents for a Kitchenaid Mixer. Not what you usually get from an 18 year old! But seeing as I love baking I thought this will be with me forever and will get good use!

I think i'll then save up my birthday money to buy a Mulberry bag. It's my dream bag. I just think they are so classic and stylish and so very me!

Hopefully i'll have a Selfridges voucher. I adore vouchers! I can't get enough of them! Haha! I think Selfridges is my favorite high end store it's just got everything you want from makeup to food to clothing! Brilliant!

And of course I want to go out with my friends and get a few drinks. Why not?! That's what normal 18 year olds do right?! haha!

Are any of you 18+ what did you do for your 18th? Go out and party? Had a lovely meal? Let me know in the comments below!

Youtubers And Their Products - What Do You Think?

Wednesday 29 October 2014

Hi everyone!
Many Youtubers have now gone big. And by big I mean writing their own books, cosmetics range, beauty range, App games, radio and TV shows. I remember watching them back in 2010 and never thinking they will become this big!
Anyway bloggers/vloggers Zoella and Tanya Burr have released their own cosmetics and beauty range. I've done a blog post on Tanya Burr's lipgloss and nail polish on my blog before, you can read it here
I was curious with Zoella's beauty range, i've heard many great things about them. I went into Superdrug and got my hands on the ''Fizz bar'' also Tanya's Lipgloss and nail polish.

Zoella's fizz bar is amazing for the price! £5 for a decant smell and a lovely bath! What else could go more wrong? I'm a big fan on Tanya's lip glosses I think they are one of the best drugstore lipgloss out there! The nail polish are average, after 4 months it will dry up.

What do you think about this whole youtubers bringing out their own range of things? Do you think it's a rip off for them to make more money? I've heard a lot of people saying that. I disagree I think it's an amazing opportunity for them! It's amazing how someone could write a blog/turn on a camera and talk and get enough amount of views to have their own line of cosmetics, books. beauty etc range!

Until next time!

I have the Naked 2 palette and it's my go to eyeshadow palette! Everyday I usually go for the eyeshadows that's in it. It's just great! So when Urban Decay got their Naked 3 for us. I knew I would buy it for sure! I am a bit late with buying it a year after it got released out. But I just had to right about it on my blog!

Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette is a rose gold based eyeshadows with 12 new eyeshadows.

If you have blonde hair then this palette is for you! It complements your hair/skin so good! Something about the colours in this palette goes so well with blondes. 10/10! The only downside of this palette is the price, It's £37 in selective stores, Very expensive but totally worth it! If you want more in depth review of this palette, just google it! There are about 50000 reviews about it haha!
